Enrolment Information

Availability

When a place becomes available we will refer to our waiting list and arrange for the child to visit our classroom for a morning. This is so we can spend some time with your child and ensure that they are ready for our classroom. All children need to be toilet trained for the three year old classroom before a place is offered to them.

After the visit the Nominated Supervisor and the directress will decide if the child is ready for the classroom and a place will be offered to the family. When a place is offered, the families will be provided with a copy of the parent handbook and other relevant information to make your child’s orientation as smooth as possible. Our orientation process is flexible and will be discussed with each family and tailored to their child’s needs.

Child Care Subsidy

The child care subsidy/work tested and is income and is based on your family’s circumstances. This benefit is paid to Southbank Montessori each week and then the family is required to pay the balance. To claim this you must provide us with a CRN for the parent and the child and have approval from Centrelink to claim child care subsidy.

Fees

Our fees are as follows;

Daily: $147 per day (we have a two day minimum requirement)

Weekly: $680 per week

These are the fees for the year from 11th July 2022. Fees are reviewed every July.

Please note that if your child normally attends on a public holiday we do not charge for that day as the center will be closed.

Invoicing

Each week a weekly invoice will be issued and emailed to you. If you have any query on the invoice please contact us immediately.

Payment

All accounts are payable by direct debit from your nominated account. There are no charges for payment from an Australian bank account.

If you want to pay by credit card that is possible, however the bank fees are charged to you on collection.

Families pay weekly on a Thursday by direct debit.
